Product Overview

The Battalion Parasol was a scouting battalion of the the Home Army (Armia Krajowa), the dominant Polish resistance movement during World War 2. Its emblem is a Umbrella on top of the Kotwica Anchor (reflecting the roots of its paratrooper founder) -Wikipedia

The Kotwica "Anchor" was the insignia of the Home Army. Combining the letters "P" and "W" into a anchor, it spells out Pomścimy Wawer("We shall avenge Wawer" (massacre)), over the course of the war the letters came to symbolize the phrase Polska Walcząca ("Fighting Poland") -Wikipedia
